Ayatollah Kazemeini Boroujerdi’s request from Nobel Peace Committee to

Attract protection in gaining influential immunity:
Dear Sirs, Madams, Respected attendant,
Dear Principle,

Accept my salutation from my painful row in Evin prison, north of Tehran, Iran’s capital.
I am spending very hard time. Helping peace and cooperating with liberals and Human Rights defenders are all my hope. Only my God knows that what and how I have endured during 15 years of serving to God of peace and the rules of liberal-mindedness. I have hated cruelty since my childhood and struggling with despotism was the echo of my heartbeat. I could never be quiet in front of power masters oppressions and close my eyes in the face of discrimination, partiality and killing freedom and not hearing the protest and groans of defenseless men. I am always very thirsty for justice and being in continuous fight with dictators. I worship God who would not send prophets for wrath and anger and also not send a rule in dread and terror for society; I would accept religion which is philanthropic and would not let administrator’s despotism and autocracy. I know justice the soul of community. When the soul of human becomes chaotic, insecurity will enclose all over the world. I know freedom the body of creatures. Divestment of freedom from every entity causes his/her mould to become ruined.
The undersigned, Seyyed Hossein Kazemeini Boroujerdi, know attention to Human Rights the most important vital services; Human need freedom for releasing from every kind of captivity. Every man who by draft of every law intends to limit or erase freedom; he/she has oppressed the reality of humanity and is deserving exclusion. I know peace more important than rain for people on earth because we could help life with the lack and shortage of water by humankind’s affection and kindness. I know widespread injustice in countries for mankind’s sons more unsavory than famine because human beings would aid each other in nature’s wrath and alleviate pressures caused by natural calamities but the power of plural protest would break in violation of natural, internal and inherent of human rights and the ability of peasants and citizens for restoring their rights would disappear. I know history of the past time shamefully with regard to mass violation of Human Rights when rulers invested nation’s life for their expansionism and deprived people’s calmness for their conquest; they shed blood of oppressed men for their over ambition and made extinct many generations to gain barbaric and inhumane intentions. I know existing world wars on history head rebellion selected creature of God and also indelible blackness of its crimes are blots on conscienceless and atheist politicians’ honor. I never believe in religion which by force, beliefs investigation and divestment of intellectual freedom legitimizes the way of development for itself. I think religion and state should be separated and joining these two would mean preparing religious autocracy and international crisis. History has proved that preparing religious excuses in governmental affairs endanger international peace and security. I know human as the lord of all creatures and divine chosen in the world of being and every kind of offensive to identity, existence, personality and ownership of him/her is against God’s will. All men are uncontested masters in states and states are their servers. Every ruler who intend to human exploitation is perverted and does not have the right of governmental profession. Colonialist in every cloth who has the motivation of plunder and oppression to mankind has declared war to individual people. There is no difference in races, colors and countries in the world and mankind is participant in everything which gains from this earthy planet. Being hunger in the world causes dishonor of affluent people during history and is written as cruelty and having no conscience. All the nations on the earth should exploit all natural abilities of water, soil and air. Greediness, expansionism and monopoly are signs of lack of thrift, caution and moderation which cause existence of enmity and hatred and innocent people would menace by blood shed, therefore we should avoid preparing everything which causes fights. The preliminaries of war are in hostile assuming defensive, so between all religions and races should make bridges of friendship and kindness and they should establish international relations on the base of favorable opinion, spread of amity and avoiding minority, geographical, boundary and humanlike intrigues.
I am crier of peace and for this reason have presented my youth to God. As a liberal, I have forfeited in being sacrificed my family and breakup my life for honor of freedom. I wish democracy for all over the world and do not know any difference between holy religions. Every manner which promotes and takes us to God would be blissful. I know weapons of genocide opposition of mankind and nuclear bombs the cause of fall and extinction of the human race, as well. I know competition in production, reproduction and selling weapon against of health of environment. I find guilty everything that causes a clash for human calmness. Improving culture should be in a way that it would not need to have prison. Governments should not enact laws which make men in trouble. Taxes, revenues and fines ought to be in balance and consider the ability of different types of people for giving back.
I show humility from Iran to all Human Rights activities and hug peace criers. When the committee of supporting animals controls the way of treating human toward animals and put it under microscope, how remains unaware of oppressed and miserable mankind in the world! Although I had been invited and advised to exit from my homeland, I endangered all existent dangers toward my compatriots and the feeling of their need to support their lawful, logical and known rights and I could not prepare to leave my country. Now I m in the worst propaganda, spiritual, familial and security measures conditions and international assemblies are aware of my state but at the same time I tolerate prison, exile, harm and pressure for the sake of importance of Human Rights and greatness of pacifism and I call to witness God and history that I have avoided doing injustice since beginning of my life and have adored serving dispossessed. I did not take advantage of my important situations in social exalting and popular interests. At the time of attacking police force I invited all my supporters to surrender and avoided confronting invasions that caused slaughter. Now I know myself a devotee of peace and an advertiser of freedom and a supporter of Human Rights and I request from decision maker assemblies that help me in promoting and moving forward my holy goals and make suitable immunity for this responsibility for me.

خانمها، آقايان، مسئولين محترم كميته صلح نوبل، آقاي رئيس،

درودم را از بند پر دردم در زندان اوين در شمال تهران، پايتخت ايران بپذيريد.

‌روزگار سختي را سپري مي‌كنم، كه تمام دلخوشي من، ياري رساندن به صلح و همراهي با آزاديخواهان و همسوئي با مدافعين حقوق بشر است. فقط آفريدگارم مي‌داند كه طي 15 سال خدمتگزاري به آله‌ي صلح و آئين آزادگي چه كشيدم و چگونه عمرم را سپري نمودم. من از كودكي از ظلم تنفر داشتم و استبدادستيزي طنين ضربان قلبم بود و هرگز نتوانستم در برابر زورگوئي‌هاي صاحبان قدرت ساكت بنشينم و چشمانم را بر تبعيض‌خواهي‌ها و آزادي‌كشي‌ها ببندم و ناله‌هاي انسانهاي بي‌پناه را نشنيده بگيرم. هميشه تشنه‌ي عدالت بوده‌ام و با ديكتاتوران در نبرد پياپي قرار داشته‌ام.

من خدائي را مي‌پرستم كه پيامبران را به قهر و غضب نفرستاده باشد و حكمي در رعب و وحشت جامعه ارسال نكرده باشد.

ديني را قبول دارم كه مردم‌نواز باشد و دستان مجريان آنرا براي خودكامگي باز نگذاشته باشد.

من عدالت را روح اجتماع مي‌دانم، آنگاه كه روان بشريت پريشان گشت، ناامني سراسر زمين را فرا مي‌گيرد.

من آزادي را جسم موجودات مي‌دانم، در صورت سلب آزادي از هر موجودي، كالبدش تباه مي‌گردد.

اينجانب توجه به حقوق بشر را از اعظم خدمات حياتي مي‌دانم؛ انسان براي خلاصي از هر نوع اسارتي،‌ آزادي لازم دارد، هركس با طرح هر قانوني، درصدد محو يا محدوديت براي آزادي باشد به حقيقت انسانيت جفا كرده و مستوجب طرد است.

من، صلح را از باران براي مردم زمين، ضروري‌تر مي‌دانم زيرا زندگي با كمبود  آب را با عطوفت و مهرباني همنوعان مي‌توان علاج نمود.

من حق‌كشي‌هاي رايج در ممالك را براي ابناء بشر، از قحطي زشت‌تر مي‌دانم، زيرا كه در قهر طبيعت، بني‌آدم مددكار يكديگر مي‌شوند و فشارهاي ناشي از بلاياي طبيعي را تسكين مي‌دهند، اما در نقض حقوق طبيعي و فطري و خداداده‌ي انسان، قدرت اعتراض جمعي، مي‌شكند و توان رعيت براي احقاق حقش محو مي‌گردد.

من تاريخ گذشته را نسبت به تضيع حقوق بشر، شرم‌آور مي‌دانم آنجا كه حكام براي توسعه‌طلبي خود، از جان ملتها مايه ‌گذاشتند و آرامش خلق را به خاطر كشورگشائي‌هاي خويش،‌ سلب ‌كردند، خونهاي مظلومين را براي جاه‌طلبي‌هاي خود ريختند و نسلهائي را منقرض ‌ساختند تا به اغراض حيواني و ضد انساني خود برسند.

جنگهاي جهاني موجود بر تارك تاريخ را عصيان بر موجود برگزيده‌ي خداوند مي‌دانم و سياهي‌هاي پاك‌نشدني از جنايات آن را لكه‌ي ننگي بر دامن سياستمداران بي‌وجدان و دور از خدا مي‌دانم.

من هرگز مذهبي را كه با زور و تفتيش عقايد و سلب آزادي‌هاي فكري راه پيشرفت را براي خود مشروع مي‌داند باور ندارم.

معتقدم دين و حكومت بايد از يكديگر جدا شوند و يكي شدن اين دو به معني فراهم شدن استبداد ديني و ايجاد بحرانهاي بين‌المللي خواهد بود.

تاريخ اثبات كرده است كه فراهم آوردن بهانه‌هاي ديني در امور حكومتي، صلح و امنيت جهاني را به خطر مي‌اندازد.

اينجانب،‌ انسان را اشرف مخلوقات مي‌دانم و او را برگزيده‌ي الهي در هستي مي‌بينم و هرگونه تعرض به هويت و موجوديت و شخصيت و مالكيت او را خلاف اراده‌ي خداوندي مي‌دانم.

‌انسانها حاكمان بلامنازعه‌ي حكومتها هستند و دولتها، خدمتگزاران ايشان مي‌باشند؛ هر حاكمي كه قصد استثمار انساني را داشته باشد گمراه است و حق اشتغالات حكومتي را ندارد.

استعمارگر در هر لباسي كه انگيزه‌ي چپاول و تعدي به بشريت داشته باشد، به همه آحاد انساني اعلام جنگ داده است.

هيچ تفاوتي در نژادها و رنگ‌ها و ملل كره‌ي زمين نمي‌باشد و بني آدم، در هرآنچه كه از مدخل اين سياره‌ي خاكي به دست مي‌آيد، ‌سهيم است.

وجود گرسنگي در جهان، بي آبروئي ثروتمندان را به تاريخ مي‌برد و آن را به عنوان بي‌رحمي و بي‌وجداني، ثبت مي‌گرداند.

تمام ملتهاي زمين بايد از امكانات طبيعي آب و خاك و هوا، بهره‌برداري كنند.

زياده‌خواهي‌ها و توسعه‌طلبي‌ها و امتيازگيريها نشانه‌ي عدم قناعت و احتياط و اعتدال است و سبب بروز كينه‌ها و عداوتها مي‌شود و مردم بي‌گناه را تهديد به خونريزي مي‌كند لذا بايد از هر ابزاري كه اسباب نبردها را فراهم مي‌آورد، اجتناب كرد.

مقدمات جنگ در جبهه‌گيري‌هاي خصومت‌آميز است، لذا بايد بين همه اقوام و اديان، پلهاي دوستي و محبت ساخت و روابط بين‌المللي را بر پايه حسن ظن و تكثير مودت و پرهيز از تحريكات اقليتي و جغرافيائي و مرزي و انساني، بنا نمود.

من منادي صلح مي‌باشم و به خاطرش جوانيم را تقديم خداوند كرده‌ام، به عنوان يك آزاديخواه كه سالها به خاطر حرمت آزادي، تاوان سنگيني را در قرباني دادن از خانواده و فروپاشي زندگيم داده‌ام، خواهان دموكراسي در تمامي جهان هستم.

تفاوتي بين اديان آسماني و مذاهب الهي نمي‌بينم، هرآئيني كه ما را به پروردگار جهان برساند، سعادت‌آفرين خواهد بود.

سلاحهاي كشتار جمعي را ضديت با بشر مي‌دانم و بمبهاي هسته‌اي را عامل نابودي و انقراض انسان مي‌يابم؛ مسابقه در توليد و تكثير و فروش  اسلحه را مغاير با سلامت محيط زيست مي‌دانم و هرچه را كه باعث برهم خوردن آرامش انسان شود، محكوم مي‌كنم.

بايد فرهنگ‌سازي در جهان به گونه‌اي پيش رود كه نيازي به داشتن زندان نباشد؛ نبايد حكومتها قوانيني وضع كنند كه باعث به زحمت افتادن مردم شود.

مالياتها و عوارض و جريمه‌ها بايد در حد اعتدال و ميانه باشد و رعايت توانائي اقشار مردم در پس دادن و اداء آنها بشود.

من از ايران‌زمين به تمامي خادمين حقوق بشر، تواضع مي‌كنم و مناديان صلح را در آغوش مهرم مي‌فشارم.

در حالي كه انجمن حمايت از حيوانات در چگونگي برخورد انسان با حيوان، نظارت دارد و آن را زير ذره‌بين دارد، چگونه از حال بشر مظلوم و مفلوك در جاي‌جاي اين كره، غافل مي‌شود!

من در حاليكه سالها قبل به خروج از كشورم دعوت و توصيه شده بودم اما به خاطر دلسوزي به هموطنانم و احساس نياز آنها به دفاع از حقوق مشروع و معقول و معروفشان همه خطرات موجود را به جان خريدم و حاضر به ترك ملتم نگشتم و اكنون در بدترين موقعيت امنيتي و تبليغي و روحي و خانوادگي قرار دارم و از حال و روزم، مجامع بين‌المللي آگاهند؛ در عين حال، زندان و تبعيد و آزار و فشار را به خاطر اهميت حقوق بشر و عظمت صلح‌جوئي تحمل مي‌كنم و خدا و تاريخ را به شهادت مي‌گيرم كه از آغاز حياتم، از ستمكاري پرهيز كرده‌ام و عاشق خدمت به محرومان بوده‌ام و از موقعيتهاي مهم خود در اعتلاي اجتماعي و علائق مردمي، سوء استفاده نكردم و در هنگام حمله‌ي نيروهاي مسلح حكومتي، همگان را دعوت به تسليم كردم و از مقابله با تهاجمات كه سبب خونريزي مي‌گشت، اجتناب نمودم، و حالا هم خود را يك فدائي صلح و مبلغ آزادي و مدافع حقوق بشر مي‌دانم و از مراكز تصميم‌گيرنده در اين امر مي‌خواهم:

مرا در پيشبرد اهداف مقدسم ياري كنند و مصونيتي در خور اين مسئوليت، عطا نمايند.
